PowerTalk 96.7 and AM1400 has an amazing opportunity for a talented and experienced Producer/Board Op to join the Christopher Gabriel Program.

Position Overview

The Producer is responsible for booking guests, interacting with callers and co-hosts while participating in on-air broadcasts.  Must be extremely personable and able to take direction well with commitment and attention to detail in every aspect of the position.

Required Skills
  • Adhere to all guidelines, policies and procedures of the station, iHeartMedia Inc., the FCC and all other federal, state and local laws.
  • Have a deep knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations.
  • Inspire a fun environment for the team everyday
  • Be well organized in ability to research topics and participate in show “prep sessions”.
  • Focus the show and create/deliver a show plan each day. Keep the show on time.
  • Uphold show brand values
  • Spin topics into compelling digital content
  • Quickly and effectively screen calls and book guests.
  • Social Media/Digital content creation as a core focus
  • Operate NexGen/console
  • Adobe Audition knowledge preferable
  • Ability to work with sales on creative client integration
  • True Team Player that communicates with all departments (programming, promotions, sales, engineering, traffic, etc.) of a highly successful radio station
  • Multi-task while multi-tasking
  • Must have valid drivers license with no restrictions.
Required Experience
  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years experience.

Position Overview

 

The Account Executive is responsible for building relationships and selling iHeartMedia assets as marketing solutions for radio.  They will acquire, retain and deepen customer relationships. Account Executives proactively meet face-to-face and over the phone with customers to promote and sell advertising air time to generate revenue.  The Account Executive creates revenue by having a deep understanding of their clients’ needs and the local marketplace.  Depending on the market, this position reports to the Local Sales Manager or General Sales Manager.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least one year experience in a successful sales role  is preferred (radio experience a plus)
  • Ability to grow the business & find new revenue opportunities, and create productive, long-term customer relationships.
  • Prior demonstrated prospecting experience through cold calling, networking, and meeting functions.
  • Proven track record of reaching sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices.

  • Service client accounts including preparing sales orders and production requests, resolve billing discrepancies, assist in account collections.
  • Follow station/company practices/policies for processing, invoicing, calculation of sales.
  • Establish, maintain, and deepen relationships with existing client base & agencies.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with corporate, advertising, and public relations communities.
